Sky Appraisals is a national affiliation of independently owned and
operated appraisal firms. Our appraisers have affiliated for superior
marketing locally, regionally and nationwide.
With the growth of management companies and nationwide lenders
appraisal firms have lost their identities. A firm may have superior
products and an impeccable local reputation, but to nationwide lenders,
they are just another name in the alphabet soup of appraisal companies.
Sky Appraisals is building a brand name lenders will recognize, whether
they need an appraisal in Biloxi or Spokane Sky is there.
Sky's affiliates pool their marketing ideas. They share what ideas have
succeeded and which ideas have failed. The Affiliates work together,
building strong local companies through effective marketing.
Sky's affiliates share their client lists. Each affiliates submits a list of the
lenders that they work for. We compile a list of the lenders and send it to
each affiliate. This helps ensure, that if an appraisal is needed, our
affiliates are on the list to provide it.
Sky's affiliates refer clients within the network. Often when a local client
needs an appraisal outside a service area they turn to their appraiser for
a reference. Sky offers a network of affiliates that refer clients to one
another.
Sky offers appraisal processing assistance. While we cannot complete
the report in its entirety our processors can complete a majority of the
report. We can complete whatever information is available on-line.
On-line information varies throughout the United States and though some
areas this service is not practical to many appraisals this is an invaluable
service. This service is not exclusive to our affiliates but is cheaper for
affiliates.
Sky offers credit card processing services to its affiliates and is
developing a continuing education program.
Times have changed. Lenders are nationwide, appraisers need to follow
their lead, need to be able to reach them and standout from the crowd.
